This AM5 motherboard deal is basically highway robbery

Okay so I saw this deal and had to share because honestly? This might be the most ridiculous bundle pricing I've seen all year. Newegg's got this combo where you buy 16GB of Team Group DDR5-6000 RAM and they basically give you an Asus B850 Max Gaming WiFi motherboard for ten bucks. Ten. Dollars.

Here's what's happening. The RAM kit normally runs about $70-80, and the motherboard? That's a $170 board on its own. But together they're asking $239.99. So yeah, you're essentially getting that B850 board for the price of a sandwich. The math makes my brain hurt but my wallet's pretty happy about it.

Now look, I've tested plenty of Team Group RAM over the years and it's solid stuff. Nothing fancy but it gets the job done. DDR5-6000 with CL30 timings is the sweet spot for AM5 builds right now anyway. The real star here is that Asus board though. B850 chipset gives you PCIe 5.0 support, WiFi 7, and enough connectivity for pretty much any build that doesn't need extreme overclocking.

White components too, which matters if you're going for that clean aesthetic. The B850 Max has this subtle white PCB that actually looks pretty slick through tempered glass. Pair it with the white RAM heatspreaders and you're halfway to Instagram fame.

Bottom line? If you're building an AM5 system in 2026, this is stupid good value. Like suspiciously good. Makes me wonder if Newegg ordered too many motherboards for the holidays or something. Whatever the reason, I'd grab this before they realize what they've done.
